I don't use red beacon in my car: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said she does not use the red beacon in her car.

"I don't use the red beacon in my car", Banerjee told reporters at the N S C Bose International Airport here after her return from Bhubaneswar when asked about the Union Cabinet's decision that beacon lights will be removed from all vehicles, except emergency vehicles, like ambulances and fire brigade from May 1.

She also said that in West Bengal there was restriction on the use of red beacon on vehicles.
