I-T Dept raid 10 hosiery establishments, finds tax evasion

The income tax department raided 10 hosiery establishments here and found that they were evading taxes, a senior official said today.

The I-T department yesterday conducted raids at the hosiery establishments in the Muzaffarnagar district.

The raids were conducted in ten premises and concealed income tax was found of crore of rupees during raids here yesterday, according to Income Tax Commissioner S Suman.

Their account papers were seized after the department found that they were evading taxes.
