IDBI Bank increases MCLR rates by 5-10 bps

State-run today raised it's marginal cost of funds based lending rate (MCLR) rate by up to 10 basis points across various tenors.

(Exim Bank) today said it has extended a line of credit (LOC) of USD 500 million to the government for water supply scheme in 23 towns of the country.

With this, Exim Bank, so far, has extended six LOCs to taking the total value of LOCs extended to USD 1.1 billion.

Projects covered under the LOCs extended to Tanzania include supply of tractors, pumps and equipment, financing purchase of vehicles, extension of pipeline to Tabora, and water supply schemes in Dar-es-Salaam. ************* increase fixed deposit rates by up to 8.35% *

Finance, the lending and investment arm of Finserv, has increased fixed deposit rates to 8.10 per cent from 7.85 per cent for a tenor of 36-60 months.

For the existing customers, fixed deposits rates have been raised up to 8.35 per cent for a tenor of 36-60 months.

Senior citizens can earn an rate of 8.45 per cent for a tenor ranging between 36 to 60 months, the company said.
