IHCL signs management contract for Taj hotel in Lonavala

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) today said it has signed a new Taj hotel through a management contract with Wilds and Water Developers, a part of the Kakade Group, in Lonavala.

The Taj branded resort will be located along the Lake Pawana, in over 30 acres, including 150 guest rooms, a release issued here said.

The Kakade Group is a construction and development groups in Maharashtra.

***************** Royal Sundaram launches new health insurance plan *

Royal Sundaram General Insurance today launched Family Plus, a health insurance plan covering 19 family members with individual sum insured for each member and a floater sum insured that can be used by any of the family members.

 

Family Plus has no restriction on the number of adults, children's age or relationship restriction on adults as in other floater policies, a release issued here said.

Kerala-based Kalyan Jewellers today said it has roped in Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador.

"Katrina personifies brand Kalyan's attributes of style and elegance. She has set her own path with sheer hard work, akin to Kalyan's own growth trajectory," Kalyan Jewellers executive director, marketing and operations, Ramesh Kalyanaraman said in a statement.

The actress will predominantly feature communication campaigns, especially in the northern and western markets.

***************** Sachin Tendulkar's 100MB app conducts merchandise e-auction *

Mobile application envisioned by Sachin Tendulkar, 100MB, is celebrating one year of existence through an e-auction comprising 10 pieces of merchandise themed around and personally autographed by the cricketing legend.

The app is dedicated to cricket, and aggregates a variety of multi-format content that features celebrity cricket superstars.

The items to be auctioned include a cricket bat, leather season cricket balls and t-shirts by True Blue and will continue till May 1, a release said today.

Twenty per cent of of the proceeds are being donated to charity, it added.
