Two people have been arrested and an illegal arms manufacturing unit was busted at Jolla village, the police said today.
Twenty-four semi-finished pistols, which were buried in a field, have been seized along with tools and equipment, SHO Chaman Singh Chawda said.
The raid was conducted by a team from the Nishana Police Station yesterday, the officer said.
The men were arms smugglers and supplied country-made pistols in the area, he said.
