Illegal arms manufacturing unit busted in Raj; 2 held

An illegal arms manufacturing unit was today busted in Alwar district of Rajasthan where police recovered six firearms and as many live cartridges.

Acting on a tip off, a house was raided in Kharkhadi village where Happy Singh (66) and Deepak (25) were allegedly found manufacturing the arms, SP Alwar Vikas Kumar said.

The duo have been arrested in connection with the case, he said, adding the arms and cartridges and material used to manufacture the arms have been seized, he added.
