The police conducted a raid at a house in Mango area of yesterday night and caught one person red handed when a match was on, Senior of Police of East Singhbhum district, Anoop Birtheray, said.

The police team recovered Rs 26.44 lakh in cash, about 390 grams of gold jewellery, 13 mobile phones, two lap tops, a tab, two cards and a four-wheeler from the accused, Birtheray told a press conference today.

He said investigation was on and there is a possibility that the racket is spread across the country.
