Italian Ambassador meets Gujarat CM Narendra Modi

Italian Ambassador to India Daniele Mancini met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today.

He was accompanied by a high-level business delegation, an official statement said, adding that discussions were held on exploring areas for mutual co-operation.

Mancini evinced keen interest to partner Gujarat's growth story.

"Top executives of Italian companies offered green technology assistance for the construction sector, infrastructure, logistics, ceramics, small city concepts in industrial clusters and agro business," the statement said.

Gujarat's Additional Chief Secretary for Industries Maheshwar Sahu was also present during the meeting.
