Jail inmates take pledge to make "India of their dreams"

A programme to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti and to mark the International Non-violence Day was organised in the jail premises by Mumbai Sarvodaya Mandal and Gandhi Research Foundation, in association with jail authorities.

About 120 inmates took an oath to create an "India of their dreams" on the occasion.

The jail superintendent appealed to the inmates to bring about a change in themselves, a release by the Mandal said.
