Jail official thrashed by inmate

Inmate Balwinder Singh thrashed jail officer Joginder Singh last night.

Police said that the incident occurred when the Assistant Superintendent Jail during a routine checking found accused Balwinder Singh possessing toxics.

The turban (head gear) of the jail official was tossed up and his clothes were torn by Singh.
