Actor Jake Gyllenhaal stepped out in public in a clean-shaven look after six months.

The 33-year-old actor had been sporting a beard and long, shaggy hair for the past six months while working on his upcoming movie 'Everest', in which he plays experienced climbing guide Scott Fischer.

The flick is based on the true-life adventure about a fateful mountain expedition in 1996, reported Us magazine.

During her recent appearance, the 'Love & Other Drugs' actor kept his head covered in a blue beanie, leaving his fans to wonder if he's also gotten rid of his long hair.
