Natalie Portman's upcoming film "Jane Got A Gun" has been postponed in France in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The Paris premiere of the movie, which was due to take place yesterday, was scrapped and all promotional events, including press junkets and TV appearances, were called off following the horror in the city, said the Hollywood Reporter.

The French release for the Western, which also stars Ewan MCGregor and Joel Edgerton, has now been pushed back, said a representative for the film.

A new release date has not been given yet.

The Paris premieres of Tom Hanks' film "Bridge of Spies" and Tom Hardy's "Legend" were also called off out of respect for the dead and their families, and a number of musicians have called off gigs in France including Foo Fighters, Years & Years and U2.
