Japan promises assistance in food processing, tourism

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today met Japan's industry minister Yoshuke Takagi, who showed keen interest in providing assistance to the state in food processing and tourism, in particular.
The minister came with an eight-member delegation from his country.
An official statement said here that Takagi sought the chief minister's cooperation in facilitating a direct flight from famous Buddhist town of Bodh Gaya to Tokyo.
The minister invited Kumar for a visit to his country.
