Jatehdar Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh along with four Sikh high priests today held meeting at the secretariat here to shortlist the issues to be discussed in the next meeting.
The meeting was held after a gap of nearly two months.
Sikh high priests had faced severe criticism by radical Sikh leaders, scholars for giving pardon to Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh in a blasphemy case.
Meanwhile, radical Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh, while reacting to today's meeting, said, "disgraced persons cannot sit on the pious and religious prestigious seat of Sikh community."
He said today's meet was convened to "mock" all those who had rejected Giani Gurbachan Singh.
He said the present incumbent has been discarded by a larger section of the Sikh community.
Giani Gurbachan Singh, Giani Mal Singh, Giani Gurmukh Singh and Giani Iqbal Singh had pardoned Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in violation of traditions, which Kanwar Pal said, was against the collective wish of the community.
