Jawan injured in accidental firing on LoC in Poonch

An Army jawan was injured when his rifle went off accidentally, along LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sepoy Vijay Chouhan was cleaning his rifle when it accidentally went off and injured him while at a unit deployed on LoC in Chakan-Da-Bagh area in Poonch yesterday evening, officials said today.

He was hospitalised and a probe has been ordered, they said.
