JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals today posted a 67.97 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 43.22 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 25.73 crore for during the same period in the year-ago period.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 289.48 crore for the fourth quarter, as against Rs 249.75 crore for the same period 2014-15 fiscal, JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals said in a regulatory filing.
For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 176.38 crore as compared with Rs 113.58 crore in FY2014-15.
Net sales of the company for the year ended March 31 stood at 1,119.93 crore as against Rs 1,038.13 crore in the 2014-15.
Shares of the company ended 0.10 per cent down at Rs 257.15 apiece on BSE.
