Jennifer Lawrence to co-chair 2015 Met Gala

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence will co-chair the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, also known as the Met Gala.

The theme of next year's ball is 'Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film and Fashion', reported Us magazine.

In years past, the exhibit has been dedicated to a designer or a groundbreaking style, like 2011's Alexander McQueen, 2013's punk style, and 2014's Charles James curations.

At the 2014 Met Gala, the 24-year-old was snapped photobombing Sarah Jessica Parker on the iconic, red carpet-covered staircase that leads up into the museum and the party.

Jessica Parker co-chaired the Met Gala last year with Bradley Cooper.
