Garwha continued to be the hottest place in the state with a maximum of 45 degree Celsius, according to Met office sources.
The people in Palamau (44.3), Latehar (44), Hazaribagh (43.5), Lohardaga (43.4), West Singhbhum (42.2), Bokaro (42), Jamtara (41), Giridih (41), Jamshedpur (41.2), Ranchi (41) and Dumka (40) continued to endure severe heat wave conditions with no respite in sight.
The Met office forecast that the heat wave would continue for the next 24 hours.
