The Jharkhand unit of Rashtriya Janata Dal today welcomed party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's announcement that the party would support the proposed JMM-Congress government in the state.
"We welcome the decision," RJD Legislature Party leader Annapurna Devi said over the telephone.
The party would work towards the priorities of Jharkhand, Devi said as the state heads towards the formation of its ninth government in a twelve-and-a-half-year period.
President's rule was imposed in Jharkhand on January 18 after Jharkhand Mukti Morcha pulled out of the BJP-led coalition on January 8.
