Jharkhand to become 'JMM-mukt' in future: Raghubar Das

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today accused the Mukti Morcha (JMM) of cheating the tribals and said that the state will become 'JMM-mukt Jharkhand' in future.

According to him, if there is any political party that exploited the tribals, it is the JMM.

"Like 'Congress-mukt Bharat', there will be 'JMM-mukt Jharkhand'," Das said at a press conference here.

He said that his government would begin a month-long development programmes from June 30 this year in honour of tribal heroes Sidho and Kanho.

June 30 is observed as 'Hul divas' in Jharkhand.

During the month-long programme, the government would identify 500 persons in populated tribal areas and implement various schemes in those areas, Das said.
