Two inauguration plaques -- of a road and a park -- which were laid here yesterday by the local MP were today found to have been broken by unknown miscreants following which a case was lodged by police.

According to police, a route connecting Jind-Rohtak Road and the old grain market in the area was inaugurated along with a park by BJP MP Ramesh Kaushik yesterday.

However, this morning, the locals in the area noticed that both the inauguration plaques were broken, following which a complaint was lodged at Julana police station.

A case has been registered in this connection, police said.
