JK floods: BSF tower, part of post washed away along IB

An observation tower and part of a BSF post in Samba district along the Indo-Pak border were washed away in flash flood triggered by heavy rains today.

There was flash flood in the Bansantar river and a tower and part of BSF post were washed away in Kamore forward along International Border in Samba district, officials said.

However, no one was injured and weaponry was also safe.

Flash floods have also damaged some part of border fencing, they said.
