A state-of-art block of a military hospital was inaugurated here today, making it the biggest such medical institution of Rajasthan.
The four-storey building, which has enhanced the capacity of Military Hospital, Jodhpur by at least 291 beds, was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Army's Southern Command Lt Gen Ashok Singh, defence officials said.
"With this new addition, the Jodhpur's Military Hospital has become the biggest military hospital of Rajasthan with a of total 600 beds including 500 general and 100 additional as crisis expansion beds," defence spokesperson Col S D Goswami said.
