Film producer Joel Silver's assistant Carmel Musgrov was found dead on a beach in Bora Bora, where she was present as a part of his entourage during Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's honeymoon trip.
The assistant reportedly went swimming alone in the ocean on Thursday when she disappeared.
A search party was launched after her friends failed to contact her. Hours later, her body was found washed up on the shore. Officials believe she died from drowning but the cause of death will be announced after an autopsy is completed, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Joel Silver, his family and his staff are devastated by the passing of Carmel Musgrove," a spokesperson for Silver said.
"Carmel was a dear friend and respected colleague with a very bright future ahead of her. They will all miss her dearly."
The tragic news came a few days after Aniston and Theroux returned to the States. Besides Silver, the couple was joined by Courteney Cox, Jimmy Kimmel & wife Molly McNearney, Jason Bateman, and Chelsea Handler for their post-wedding getaway.
