Consolidated net loss of Jubilant Industries narrowed to Rs 11 crore during the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 18.90 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal.
Jubilant Industries' net sales stood at Rs 191.63 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 211.62 crore in the year-ago period, a decline of 9.44 per cent, the company said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses were at Rs 194.13 crore in the quarter, down 13.51 per cent as compared to Rs 224.46 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal.
Shares of Jubilant Industries today closed at Rs 177.30 apiece on BSE, down 0.11 per cent.
