The Jammu and Kashmir National Sports Club will be organising Kashmir Gold Cup Hockey Tournament-2013 in the month of August this year.
The inaugural ceremony of the tournament will be held at Polo Ground here on August 26, President J&K National Sports Club R G N Wani said after a meeting of the Executive Committee of the club yesterday.
Wani said leading hockey teams of the country are expected to participate in the tournament which will be played in league-cum-knock out format.
The league matches of the tournament would be played at Rajbagh Playground, while the semi-finals and the final would be played at Bakshi Stadium, he said.
