Kaza Vinayak Sharma, Ramya win titles

: Kaza Vinayak Sharma of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu's Ramya Natarajan won men's and women's singles titles respectively in the AITA ranking tournament organised by MPTA@KTC here on Saturday.

The second-seeded Sharma had it easy in the men's final as his opponent, the No.3 seed Gokul Suresh conceded after losing the first games.

In the women's final, top-seed Ramya, a trainee of MPTA, defeated the second-seed Arthi Muniyan 6-3, 6-3.

Women's singles: Ramya Nataraj beat Arthi Muniyan 6-3, 6-3.

Men's doubles: Gokul Suresh & Prithvi Sekar beat Kaza Vinayak Sharma & Neeraj Elangovan 4-6, 6-4, 13-11.
