Kurt Cobain's daughter honours him on 50th birth anniversary

Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's only child, daughter Frances Bean Cobain, has paid tribute to the rocker with a touching note on his 50th birth anniversary.

Taking to Instagram, Frances Bean, 24, shared a handwritten note for Cobain, who was found dead in his Seattle home in April 1994. He was 27.

"Today would've been your 50th birthday. You are loved and you are missed. Thank you for giving me The GIFT of Life. Forever your daughter, Frances Bean Cobain," she captioned the note.
