Landslide buries seven people in east Nepal

Seven members of a family, including three children, have been buried alive when a landslide triggered by heavy monsoon hit a remote village in eastern Nepal.

The incident occurred following incessant rain in Thukimba village of Taplejung district.

Three people were also injured in the incident four others are still missing in the landslide.

A rescue team has been dispatched to the area to carry out search operations.
