A large print edition of the spiritual classic 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda was released today on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Yogoda Satsanga Math - Dakshineswar.
This edition with bigger font size mostly follows standards specified by the National Association for the Visually Handicapped, a release by Yogoda Satsanga Society said.
Releasing the book here, state minister Subrata Mukherjee said in order to heal the physical and mental diseases plaguing the man of today, yoga is essential.

"It is noteworthy that YSS is doing this important service. Among all those who spread the message of Yoga beyond the frontiers of India, Yoganandaji's name comes foremost," Mukherjee said.
The book has been translated in 34 languages including 12 Indian languages.
Yogoda Satsanga Society has published the English version of the book in a deluxe edition, hardcover edition, paperback edition, and audio version read by Sir Ben Kingsley.
The Large Print edition and the paperback edition includes a bonus CD "The Voice of Paramahansa Yogananda", the excerpts from the audio recordings of Yoganandaji, the release said.
Mukherjee awarded Paramahansa Yogananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to 16 needy students.
On this occasion, a financial aid of Rs 1,00,000 was also donated to the Association of Visually Handicapped.
