Lawyer falls from third floor of court building, dies

A 45-year-old lawyer died after falling under mysterious circumstances from the district court building here this afternoon, the police said.

Anil Rajan, the lawyer, fell from a window on the third floor of the court building, said Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dinesh Kaushal.

Police rushed him to a nearby government hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead, the ASP said.

Exactly how Rajan fell from the window was yet to be ascertained, he added.
