Lead down by 1.6% amid weak global trend
Low domestic demand also affected prices

Lead tumbled 1.65% to Rs 113.10 per kg in futures trade today after participants reduced exposure amid a weak trend overseas and sluggish domestic demand.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in December month contract was trading Rs 1.90, or 1.65%, down at Rs 113.10 per kg in a business turnover of 2,445 lots.
Also, metal for delivery January next year shed Rs 1.70, or 1.48% to Rs 113.30 per kg in 158 lots.
Analysts said weakness in base metals at the London Metal Exchange and muted from battery-makers in the domestic spot market kept pressure on metal prices.
