A life-term convict, who escaped from police custody one month ago, has been arrestedat Shamli-Saharanpur border today, police said.
Shamli SP Vijak Bhushan said that convict Perveen Jaat was arrested near Gangoharea by Shamli police.
In December 2015, Jaat managed to escape near Palwal in Haryana while he was in police custody and was being carried from Agra to Saharanpur after a court hearing.
