Light to moderate rains at several places in Rajasthan

Light to moderate rainfall was experienced today at several places in Rajasthan, the MeT department said.

Isolated places in Udaipur division witnessed moderate downpour with Ghatol (Banswara) and Pratapgarh recording 8 and 7 cm rains respectively till morning.

Alwar recorded 5 cm whereas other places recorded 1-4 cm rains during this period. Light showers were gauged in Jaipur, Churu, Ajmer, Chittorgarh and Kota which received 9.9, 7, 3.8, 3 and 1 mm rains respectively.

The weather department predicted rains at few places in eastern and in isolated areas in western parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
