Linseed oil prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on reduced demand from paint and allied industries.
Refined palmolein also edged down on lower retail offtake.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In non-edible section, linseed oil fell by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 790 from Monday's closing level of Rs 810.
Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,750 per 100 kg and Rs 980 per 10 kg respectively.
Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 557. Groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 1,025 per 10 kg.
