Lioness gives birth to still born cub

A six-year-old lioness today delivered a still born male cub at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park at suburban Vandalur here, authorities said.

Mala, the lioness, delivered the still born cub and this was her first delivery, a zoo release said.

The cub was fathered by nine-year-old lion, Shiva, it said.
