Liquor shop salesman shot dead

A liquor shop salesman, who refused liquor to some men late last night, was shot dead in Dankaur area of Bhatta village, police said today.

Some men asked Sabinder to open the shop and give them liquor. When Sabinder refused, one of them took out a gun and shot at him, police said, adding that he was rushed to a hospital by family where doctors declared him dead.

A case of murder has been lodged at Dankaur police station and manhunt launched to nab the culprits, police said.
