Liquor worth Rs 10 lakh seized near Jaisalmer

A consignment of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), worth Rs 10 lakh, has been seized from a truck which was intercepted in Phulsund area near Jaisalmer, police said today.

About 500 cartons of branded and country made liquor, being carried from Haryana and Punjab, were seized yesterday by a highway patrol team, they said.

Two persons -- identified as Murad Khan and Ayoub Khan -- have been detained for interrogation, and the vehicle seized, they added.
