Local BSP leader shot at by unidentified assailants

A local BSP leader was shot at by unidentified assailants in Sakaldiha area here, police said today.

32-year-old Rajesh Bharati, who owns a mobile store in Sakaldiha market, was shot at while he was returning home after shutting his shop last night, circle officer Shyam Dev said.

An FIR has been lodged against five unidentified persons, he added.

The health condition of Bharati, a local BSP leader, is stated to be stable, the CO said.
