Louis Tomlinson's grandfather dies

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson is mourning the loss of his grandfather.

The 24-year-old British pop star's sister, Phoebe, announced the sad news on her Instagram page.

"RIP grandad Keith. You were so kind Grandad!!," she wrote.

Louis has yet to comment on the news, but many fans have reached out to him online share their condolences.

"Now he's in heaven taking care of us, let's live happy and his soul will be happy too," writes one fan, while another one adds, "This is so sad he was such a nice person but hes in a better place now and always in our hearts."
 

The news comes two days after Louis reached a temporary custody settlement with the mother of his newborn son.
