Makers Lab gets shareholders nod to sell Thane plant

Drug firm Makers Laboratories has received shareholders' nod to sell the company's Thane manufacturing plant.

Shareholders of the firm have passed the special resolution to "sell/ transfer/ dispose off the company's manufacturing unit" situated at MIDC, Dombvili in district Thane, Makers Laboratories said in a BSE filing today.

The resolution was passed with 99.97 per cent of the votes polled through postal ballot, it added.

Shares of Makers Laboratories closed 4.88 per cent up at Rs 63.40 per scrip on BSE.
