Man absconding in five-yr-old case arrested

The police today claimed to have arrested an absconder booked for drug smuggling five years ago in Jammu and Kashmir's Jammu district.

Arjun Dev alias Ajay of R S Pura Tehsil's Jinder Melu area has been arrested and was produced before a court today, a police officer said.

He was involved in cases of smuggling of narcotics and a case was registered against him at the Miran Sahib Police Station in 2012, the officer said.
