Man arrested for murder

With the arrest of a youth,

police today claimed to have solved the murder case of a 65-year-old, who was killed at her residence in Morti area here on March 8.

Shiksha's neck was slit was a sharp-edged weapon, police said.

During investigation, it was found that Shiksha had refused to let her relative Anil Tyagi enter her house on March 8 as he was in an inebriated condition, they said.

According to police, Anil returned in the late night hours and murdered Shishka with a sharp-edged weapon.

After murdering Shiksha, Anil left behind his blood stained shirt in the house, police said.
