Man convicted for attempting to sodomise boy

A court today convicted a man and sent him to seven years in jail for attempting to sodomise and murder a 14-year-old boy.

According to the government lawyer Ritj Choudhary, Chandermohan Gaba tried to murder the boy when he resisted sodomy.

He was held guilty under sections 377, 511 and 307 of IPC and a fine of Rs 15000 was also imposed by the court.
