Man crushed to death under train

A man was crushed to death under a Diesel Multi Unit (DMU) train on Amritsar-Qadian Railway section of the Ferozepur division of Northern Railway today.

According to Government Railway Police, Santokh Singh, a resident of Preet Nagar Bohrawala, was crossing the railway line when an Amritsar bound DMU hit him, killing him on the spot.

His body was sent to civil hospital for post mortem examination and a case was registered, a GRP official said.
