Man, daughter killed in road accident in J-K

A 40-year-old man and his minor daughter were killed when a truck hit their two-wheeler in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir Saturday, police said.

The accident occurred at the Sidco chowk along Pathankot-Jammu highway.

The truck driver was arrested and a case was registered against him, they police said.

The man was identified as Sucha Lal, they said, adding that the bodies were handed over to the family.
