A 55-year-old property dealer died while trying to board Gomti Express this afternoon at Ghaziabad railway station, the GRP said.
Government Railway Police (GRP) Senior Sub-Inspector Inder Pal Singh said police reached the spot and removed the body from railway tracks.
Onlookers informed the police that the man was trying to board the running train at about 1:30 PM when somehow he lost his grip and slipped.

Police identified him as Shadaab Khan, a resident of Aligarh. His kin were informed about his death by police who told them that Khan was boarding train for Aligarh.
The body has been sent for postmortem, Singh added.
