Man held for threatening minor girl with acid attack in UP

A 24-year-old man from Khanpur has been arrested today for allegedly threatening a minor girl with acid attack, police said.

According to a complaint filed by the girl's father, Mushahid had been harassing his 14-year-old daughter and threatened to throw acid on her.

The accused is a neighbour and developed a one-sided love affair with the girl, Khanpur SSP Muniraj G said.

Mushahid has been arrested, he said.
