Man injured in explosion

One person was today injured

when an explosion took place in Jam village of Rasda area here, police said.

Ram Chandra Sharma was injured in the explosion that took place when he opened a polythene bag hanging in his shop, Superintendent of Police Onkar Singh said.

The injured was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.

A team of experts will visit the village to ascertain the nature of explosive, Singh said.
