Man killed in road mishap in Haryana

A 28-year-old man was allegedly run over by an unidentified truck here, police said today.

The victim identified as Birendra Kumar Maurya, a resident of Sanjay colony here, was killed yesterday when the truck hit him, they said.

Birendra died on the spot, police said.

Meanwhile, in a similar incident, 42-year-old Surendra Singh, a resident of Ballabgarh, was killed when a tanker allegedly hit him, they said, adding that he died on the spot.

Separate cases have been registered against drivers of the truck and the tanker, they said.

Efforts are on to nab both the drivers. They added.
